damn this dude the nicest white boy in Hip Hop ever? I mean we know Em is the nicest lyrically/technically - but I overlooked most this dudes music not gonna lie - I would skim his projects, interesting enough i bumped Swimming when it came out and was impressed and had added most of his albums to the back log to listen at a further date a few months back then this happened and sped that up smh. This dude really progressed as an artist - every project is unique, and solid something you can't say for Em. N he shyts on Em in the producing/instrument playing.

I thought the same shyt initially too, because they were close, both have history of depression, and both seem to have the same pseudo recluse vibe (Earl's last album was "I don't like shyt, I don't go outside"). I was glad to see he seemed ok in his tweets after the news. I still want to hear Q and Soul comment, they're probably going thru it.

I'm not going to sit here and front like i was a mac fan but I took time to sit with some of his music since his passing and im legit mad i aint give him a fair shot sooner. He doesn't come off as forced and he is natural, substance and message are on point. Above average bars. All around he is well-rounded true emcee with a great ear and really good production.
I got to quickly see his evolution through his catalog and read youtube and IG comments from fans he was really the soundtrack to a generation....like legit was that dude.....
Also his character and credbility can never be questioned he was in the stu cooking with the likes of wu tang and top tier emcees and was with asap yams before that wave popped. He was a white boy i can say truly respected the culture and had no vulture tendencies he gave way more to the culture than he took from it.

Really? Thats the only Mac album I own. I love that album. Im not even a mac miller fan, i dont even know why i bought it back then. But im glad I did, album has a lot of good songs.
I can't say it enough, Mac is so talented on the production side. He knows music
It wasn't wack just disappointing cause macadellic was a personal favorite for me.
