Yeah that's the thing, he started off really popular and mainstream, making radio-friendly music...but then said fukk that shyt, I'm gonna start doing interesting shyt my way.

Being remembered as a dope MC mattered to him. Being remembered as someone who cared about his craft mattered to him. You can see it in his progression. I respect and appreciate that, regardless of how close he got to his goal.

I went from skipping his music to being the first time I heard Come Back To Earth.
