Nah. Rapper who drop some good music and were overall good people deserve their props. I guarantee you almost everybody here who said RIP didn't even like a single song of his. Just showing respect.
nah he’s definitely right. Somebody comes in here talking bout mac has better songs then any Cole or Kendrick song and then I say nah mac is trash and now we have a debate about who better in a thread about a dead man. Take that shyt to another thread

Sound like a dikk eater having to tear other rappers down to big up another

Mac had some dope shyt that stands alone, leave it at that

So you're telling me that Mac Miller doesn't have a song better than any of Kendrick or Cole songs? :mjlol:
thats clearly not was said, what was said was that mac has better music than any cole or Kendrick song.

like i said in the TLR thread......he was one of the few white rappers who respected the game and embraced the culture, he knew his place and was never on no vulture shyt. He was just a cool dude. Didn't really listen to his music but always recognized him as one of the handful of white rappers who are really into this rap shyt on a geniune, respectful level. Sucks to see him go, RIP

perfect description. He was just himself, not tryna be black. That made him dope.

I mean... most men been hurt by a woman before. It's life, it happens. For me... it was my girl from HS, was with her from age 17 to 19.

I got played, I was fukked up... but once I got some new p*ssy, I could give a fukk about her

:blessed:

When I see stories like this, and people going into depression because of some ex whore they were with that they were in love with, I have to ask... did they get a rebound? Seriously

:gucci:

Anyway.........moving on, I didn't know Mac was around for so long, it feels like he been around the longest for this generation outside of Drake, Kendrick and Cole.

Nah. That lawsuit fukked hip hop.
R.I.P. to Mac Miller.
I think sampling should just be a nominal fee so that artists aren’t prohibited in their creativity. Although, the GOAT producer :havdahell:made the Eye For An Eye beat because they didn’t have the budget to sample that Al Green song so he chopped it up until it was unrecognizable. :havarmscrossed:
But for most sample based producers, they should be free to use what they want.

All that being said, the Lord Finesse case settled right? So no legal precedent was set. Maybe it had a chilling effect in that artists decided they couldn’t rap over other beats on mixtapes anymore?
