Shame that some folks are dissing him. He not only put out quality hip hop, but he was one of the few -- if only -- Caucasian hip hop artist that got his while simultaneously respecting the culture every step along the way. He had some of the most significant growth as an artist from '09 - 13 that I can ever recall seeing and his last album only improved upon that foundation that he was cementing. By no stretch had he peaked as an artist/producer. Its a loss for good music and with his premature departure from this life, Mac will definitely be leaving a void that won't be easily filled.
