Mac Dre Appreciation thread

This was the start of white boys loving him. Album is horribly mixed but has some classics. Also rest in peace to Syko who produced a lot of tracks on this as well.

The Mac Dre catalog should be mixed down again and remastered - I wonder how much access his mother has to the “masters” or ProTool files

These are his strongest projects imo (2019-2020 run). He's got a bunch of newer albums out that you might like too, however.

Listen to his albums rather than just browsing through singles if you're just getting into him. Each project has its own vibe to it.

I'd imagine they'd be in J-Diggs "Vault" but really at this point who knows who really has the rights.

That all dropped in under 2 years (November 2018 - May 2020) and back to back. Past that point, he dropped Spaceships on the Blade last year and The Great Escape this year.

He does have a few more releases between 2020 and now as well, but they arent as good, IMO. They aren't BAD, just not as good. Dude's music output to music quality ratio has been fukking phenomenal.

edit: see how me and @Stir Fry 's lists are damn near identical? That in itself should tell you something. If his music makes you a fan, you're REALLY gonna be a fan.
