I'm actually going to stop posting in this thread now. It's disrespectful to @pete clemenza who's one of the better posters on this site. And I actually hope Pat, Lou, Dekker & Harrell all ball out this season.

He still believes in Blake for some reason though. 0 points in the 4th quarter. :dwillhuh:
Can u neg op in honor of PC and for making a dumb thread?

Thats because he also averaged 11 assists and won 55 games:umad:
And what did that do for him when his 55-win team needed him most? :umad:
No shyt. All players have bad games especially perimeter oriented ones. Two key differences, we don't play Harden's bad games on another player, he's never gone through a 1-8 W/L stretch in his career.
All players have bad games is different from having a game like that regularly, and I don't understand the bolded.

Let us not forget that even with how well Harden has played this year, CP3 is even better than Harden; according to ESPN:sas2:

8. James Harden
Rockets | SG | @JHarden13

  • Last year's rank: 8
  • 2017-18 projected RPM: 5.17
Stats & Info: Harden scored or assisted on 4,538 points last season, exactly one point shy of Tiny Archibald's NBA record set in 1972-73. With Chris Paul in town, Harden figures to spend more time off the ball which could spell trouble for opposing teams. Harden ranked in the 91st percentile in points per play on spot-ups last season.

7. Chris Paul
Rockets | PG | @CP3

  • Last year's rank: 7
  • 2017-18 projected RPM: 8.15
Stats & Info: At the league's most loaded position, Paul once again led all point guards in real plus-minus in 2016-17 while finishing second league-wide behind only LeBron James. How Paul and James Harden jibe on the offensive end will be under the microscope all season, but it's worth noting that Paul is the only point guard who's a defensive upgrade over Patrick Beverley, who finished second among point guards in defensive RPM. The gap between Paul and Beverley is the same as the gap between Beverley and the 20th-ranked defensive point guard.

But you just cosigned this post the other day -
Clear to anyone that actually watches basketball. Most people here just watch biased ESPN highlight reels narrated by cacs with an agenda.

:jbhmm::patrice:

And if CP3 is "better" than Harden, and the Rockets have one of the best records in the league already, I guess they should run away with the #1 seed and be favorites to win the title when he returns, right? Plus, with the Rockets having such a stacked team, and having a player who's better than Harden, that means we have to rule him out of the MVP conversation.
