If there is no drop off in the Clippers in performance over the course of the year, or if they get better, it will be and should be an indictment against CP3.

He hampered players, not improved them.
CP3 making players "better" is one of the biggest myths in basketball. Yes, he is/was a great player, but he didn't make players around him better. It's just a loaded term used for pass-first PGs.

Why are people talking like the Clippers weren't winning regular season games before this? Didn't they start 10-1 last year?

A team averages 55 wins a year for five straight years, but now they're suddenly good because they won 4 games?

The reason the Clippers have failed to advance over the last five years has been injuries in the playoffs and two flukey games they threw away in the 4th quarter (including that Game 6 Josh Smith onslaught that I am convinced basketball historians will determine to have not actually happened). Winning 4 regular season games doesn't do crap to show that they're better now.

Plus 3 of their top 4 scorers right now are new additions.

Cp3 shoulda taken the 200 milly. Why did he think he got a bettr chance with the beard and dem..dey losers
I think its a moot point.. I think once Jerry West came aboard he said no to the fifth year of that CP3 deal. He definitely wanted out but this made it a no brainer for him to leave. Hope the best for him but I'm glad we moved on from CP3, Paul Pierce, JJ Redikk, and Jamal Crawford. Plus if CP3 resigned with us Blake wasn't coming back so something had to give this off season.

This team is a perfect example of what's called the Ewing Theory basically how a team can preform better and win games without their best star player

Same could be said about the spurs :sas1:

That was the game CP3 was supposed to deliver for us if he's truly a top tier super star PG. He had the biggest 'deer in the headlights' look out of everybody on the team in that game 6. Like most of the shyt I blame Doc and the owner Steve Ballmer for not having real GM in place and not developing players and making decent trades... But that OKC choke the year before and that Game 6 up by 19 in the 4th was CP3's moment to carry us home.. especially that game 6 against Houston:francis:
