The issue with Blake has been passivity in important playoffs games.
Yeah he put up some nice stats but all he had to do was draw a couple of fouls late in the game and get to the free throw line and slow down that Rocket onslaught. He's got the ball in his hands 85% of the time. Calm the team down, put the team on his back, draw a foul and get to the line, etc. I was the small shyt. He didn't even play the first couple of games in the series. He choked away the OKC series the previous year. If he's truly the Point Gawd, Hall Of Famer, Superstar, etc then he has to will the team to that win when we're up 19 in the 4th. Those two series were his shining moments to make good on the big superstar labels everybody gives him and to shake the "never been past the 2nd round" demon. Those moments were the reason we traded for him in the first place. Yes Blake get some blame and Doc really gets most of the blame but those two moments were taylor made for CP3 to really cement his legacy and validate all his big game labels everyone has graced him with.
I seriously doubt he'll ever be on another team where everything runs through him/he controls everything like he had with us and the Hornets. Its going to be interesting to see how things play out for him and how his next contract is going to look when he's not controlling the rock the majority of the time.

Pierce didnt even really play for your bum ass Clippers anyway, and he was a shell of his former self. He still couldve produced more on any other team though. If The clipper guards were holding Blake back, what makes you think they werent holding Pierce back.

The problem with @The Dankster is he understands the game, fine, but he talks about players/teams/games that he doesn't actually watch; he just creates a story from what he sees in the box score in the most dishonest manner because he thinks his version of the events is correct, over someone's who actually watched the game. He hardly ever gives context to the actual events of a game. He'll say x-player shot 2-8 over a certain period, but not explain why/how that player took those shots.
That's why it's easy for him to cape for CP3 because he typically has a good play-by-play/box score, so it's easy for him to bullshyt and sound believable.
Basically, the same thing that CP3 suffers from.
The way YOU go out of your way to make excuses for him, you'd think he has a blemish-free record with 10 titles and the corresponding FMVPs.the way some of yall go out on a limb to slander the point god
