as dope as Luther is he has broken the law on numerous occasions or you forgetting he killed some dude and covered it up. Also he helped a psychopath escape from mental institution.
He gets results but i think he stopped giving a fukk after his wife was killed.
Even taking all that into account I would still take Luther over a run-of-the-mill corrupt (or even a clean indifferent) cop any day of the week.
He's an anti-hero but he still has a code. You could tell he wasn't going to turn the black guy in that killed the troll. He was like until Ripley pressed the issue. Is that against the law? Of course, but where do we draw the line? The good he does far outweighs the bad, and they gain virtually nothing by catching him.

Does this show have extreme violence and cursing?
I'd like to watch with my mom for she loves Idris Elba, but she hates cussing. If so I'll just watch it on my own.
That is not the point of being a Police Officer though. You got to follow the law and do your job to the best of your ability. If you start bending the law what is stop you from breaking the law he has to be accountable (I can't remember but didn't they accuse him of planting evidence before but could not prove it). Also from the outside you do not know what kind of code he has unless your his friend. I am cheering for Luther too but that investigation was bound to happen sooner or later he has done a ton of shady shyt. But his partner is a dikk for turning on him like that. And that guy took the extreme measure to not get caught i would have just left town I mean Luther pretty much warned him what was going down.
Nah I get all that what I mean is, they've already established that Luther is kind of the man. He takes on cases no one else wants, or can handle, and gets results. Look at the finale in season 2 for example. No Luther, more people die. So I'm not really understanding what they hope to gain by ending his career. Because it's the "right" thing to do, at the cost of people more dying? After a certain point it seems to me people would weigh all the shyt they think he's done, against all the good he's done, and see that things would be worse if he wasn't around.
To make matters worse Grey has an ulterior motive for wanting to take him down, so it's virtually impossible to side with their reasoning. She got sonned and basically just wants revenge.
Fred.
what is like extreme violence to you?
you have people getting shot and shyt but not like hardcore rated r stuff. It has some cursing but they have heavy British accents so your mom might miss some of it.
I think my mom would be fine with anything from mild use of damn through shyt, but if there's some "fukks" being thrown around I probably should watch on my own.
I can not remember but they prob do. you can curse on Brithish TV but it is nothing excessive.
Let me put it this way. I watched through both Walking Dead and Breaking Bad with my mom with no problems.
dis nicca puttin shyt on cards for the 360 :cheesinbron:....got my laptop hooked up to the tv via hdmi ....its 2013 nicca
not knowing you can hook an HDTV up to a computer in 2013.
