I was planning on only watching one episode last night, ended up staying up until 3am

My only complaint is that the last episode felt too rushed. Too much going on between two stories and the ending to stuff into 1 hour. Should've at least done a 90 minute finale.

To be honest though, I can't even remember previous seasons, I don't know if it is because they are so far apart or I have no interest in looking at them again.
fukken british tv, always have such short seasons. They have stretched this out to 6-8 episodes.
It was too neatly packaged imo.
And that stuff with Alice was not necessary.

It was a decent season. Definitely an improvement on the last, but it fizzled out (for me) with the last 2 episodes. At first, I thought Alice being back was cool but then that shyt just started dragging the show down all the way up until the clumsy climax. Give a fukk if she was doing all of that to clear his name either.

Waited until the last season came to BBC America and had it piled up on my DVR. Overall I thought the season was

Agreed the finale could have been longer to really give more weight to the 2 main storylines the season was juggling.
