BBC One has tweeted the first official image from the third season of Luther, all the while confirming that the show will return this summer.
Ever faithful to his fans, actor and DJ Idris Elba has kept fans up-to-date on progress through social networks, releasing images from on set and revealing that the main antagonist this season will be Luther’s most formidable.
It seems that this season will still be the show’s last, serving as a lead-in to an upcoming feature length film.
Returning to the show aside from the main star himself are Warren Brown, Dermot Crowley, Nikki Amuka-Bird and Michael Smiley. Confirmed to be joining the cast this season are Orlessa Altass and Lucian Msamati.
Aside from his role as the titular character, Idris is having a busy 2013, featuring in Guillermo del Toro’s monster epic Pacific Rim as well as Marvel Studios’ superhero film Thor: The Dark World.

..you didnt finish it???!...the whole point of the show is to build up to a ridiculous finale...the last two episodes of the first season and the last episode of the second season is some of the best scripted tv ive ever seen...the show is greatness...
