Assuming the context of classical beauty is the old Western European standard, video vixens would NOT be seen as classically beautiful. For one thing, they carry too much fat in their buttocks. Secondly, many of them seem and look crude. Thirdly, the preferred body shape was a top heavy hourglass with a very small waist. Europeans were never a fan of over-sized buttocks, you know.

Well proportions play a role. Most of the video vixens I've seen have asses that are disproportional to the rest of their bodies because that's what black men gravitate towards. There's also a "natural" element that's missing when fake titties and asses come into the conversation. But no I would agree there is nothing classically beautiful about a video ho.

I've seen Ghanaian, Nigerian women same complexion, more azz, legs, curves, t*ts, natural hair.. that look better than her. But she being presented like she elite. Like there aren't Kenyan or Ugandan girls that look just like her. People are so surprised to see an attractive women from Africa that they are in awe. Like, muthafukka these women have always been there. So when a nikka in this thread criticize her for any reason, yall get defensive and go straight to the colorism or hair argument when it has nothing to do with that.

But those girls most likely have not actresses nor have they won an Oscar let alone. SO its almost pointless to compare them to her IMO atleast.

This is a site DOMINATED by black males (supposedly), and here we have a 30 page thread where black men are tearing at a all natural, dark skinned black woman who was just named most beautiful by people magazine, because she's black and considered beautiful. I wish I were making this up.

You wanna know why I get on you nikkas about your woman bashing, and why Im always defending women? This thread right here is a perfect example. Blacks are slowly assimilating into White culture and have no sense of pride.We use to be the one group of people that pushed back against their standards, now we are fine letting them have a seat at the table when regarding us. A major White publication shouldn't be making MORE money and views from Blacks than a Black owned one. Yes Lupita is beautiful and not typically what White outlets portray as Black beauty but WE are letting THEM shape the standard for us.

this has nothing to do with allowing them to pander to us to sell a few more magazines this month. it's the mere fact that she's on the cover. nothing more, nothing less. i've never bought an issue of people and never will. the fact of the matter is, is that an entire demographic that is People's bread and butter will be forced to see a new face and a different standard of beauty, even if it is only temporary. you're the only one getting way too deep into the issue. yes, some people will celebrate the fact that a white magazine has included us in their yearly ritual of blanketed beauty but for most blacks and people of color it's just refreshing to see. it's nikkas like you that choose to overthink it and degrade the entire perception just because you can. you're a slave to your own intellect an analytical behavior instead of luxuriating in a moment that is long overdue.
