LIG and Stillmatic are clearly better than this album.

Ive heard this album in its entirety 3 times and it's 3.75/5.

I'm a Lupe fan.

I really don't know what's up with these Nas stans and their infatuation with LIG

There's so many wack/ boring songs on that album where he doesn't say anything that warrants a second listen:

There's the cool Nas fans like Akademik and JoelB who appreciate this album and see qualities of Lu in their personal GOAT Nasir.

And then there's the insecure Nas fans who feel threatened by Lu's greatness and feel the need to downplay his material because in their mind its blasphemous to compare anyone to Nas.

Ain't nobody fooled even when they say shyt like "and I'm a Lupe fan" :pachaha:

I just hope The GOAT and The GOAT Jr. collab on Part 2.

Nas is without a doubt the greatest rapper of all time, but i have no issue with saying lupe is on a even level playing field with him (which he is ) honestly i dont even like comparing the two because there artwork isn't even comparable in a stylistic sense. Lupe will go down as one of the TOP 5 that ever done it, hopefully he erase that overrated nikka biggie out people top 5

Idk how this can even be argued, other than Nas having the undeniable Illmatic and the longevity there really isnt much to argue as to why Nas would be on some other stratosphere than Lupe.

Key word that you can't overlook... Nas is 10 albums and almost 20 years deep... If Lupe is still dropping albums that are #1 on Billboard and outshining his peers on tracks when he's 40 then we can say he's on the same level as Nas..

He also isn't as versatile as Nas...Lupe doesn't have a Hate Me Now or Made You Look in his type song in catalogue that would be a potential street anthem...

Lupe is Lupe.. Just let him live in his own lane...

Lupe is not Nas.
It's 20000 times harder and more impressive making Illmatic that affected the whole rap game than copying it . We got all these things as impact, influence, longevity, flexibility, importance and more where these two shouldnt be mentioned in the same sentence. Straight talent wise, well he's not seeing Nas at his finest but maybe a step below. He can see 5 mic Nas on rare occasions but not godly spitting Nas. That's opinion based though, while the first part about not mentioning them in the same sentence is a bit more factual.

Every cotdam inch of GA..except the racist parts
:whoo::whoo::whoo: just listened to this joint back to back for the first times....

only joint i didn't really like was battle scars....it seemed forced and misplaced, but other than that,

:whoo::whoo::whoo:

Form Follows function :dwillhuh: .....no one should be able to rap like that......no one......that shyt is not ordinary.....

i don't understand how nas even came up in this, 2 diff emcees in my opinion.....you wouldn't categorize jay-z and kendrick now would you?

this sounds nothing like lasers to me. don't see what you dudes are talking about....go in with an open ear.....it isn't 1994 anymore...

also what ive noticed is that EVERYONE that said this album is trash never once said lupe couldn't rap...but i understand the album just isn't your cup of tea...i guess lil wayne and wocka is more for ya because you can relate to that.......

anyways, i'm really diggin this album.....i don't see any flaws lyrically, and i think that the beats all fit together cohesively. i'll give it a 9.5/10
