Now I finally got through this thread, and I kinda feel like halfway through it became a circle jerk in the hopes that Lupe would drop the 1 hour Drake diss that we really want. Might just be the craving for fukkery talking but

I have a question that's been racking my head for a while . We all know Lupe is masterful with that iambic pentameter pen game, but IF he did come for Drake, does he really have the power. I understand that hip hop heads know the true masters of the pen, but look at the Meek Mill vs Drake battle. This was a mainstream controversy by two mainstream artists. I could just imagine a beautiful, poetic diss track from Lupe that would end up extremely overwhelmed by Black twitter and the media (cue the Lupe relevancy memes ). I don't know how it would roll honestly, but what I do know is that Drake's mixtapes are selling like crazy, and I could just end up hearing my girlfriends sister tell me "Lupe tryna make a comeback, this nikkas whole life is a fiasco ." Anyway, like I said I don't know. I know Lu powerful but what would be a realistic outcome if he went at the 6God.

Compare this to any album (rap or otherwise) that came out this year, or even the last decade.

I don't know what Lupe you heard, but if you think he's a C-List rapper, then I'm doubting your credibility severely . Dudes pen game is magnificent, and even the Coli will attest to that. I'm not just talking about substance, either. Lupe is a genius wordsmith. And it's not just about being good with words. I can't get with alot of rappers that clusterfukk words together, but Lupe can do it artistically and make it sound good.

Don't ever fix your lips like collagen to say Lupe Fiasco is a C-List rapper. He's top of the wordsmith game, easily. And he's three times the artist that Drake is.
