If a Lupe falls down in the forest and nobody hears it, does it make a sound
....only if you allude to Drake.
Even if you call another rapper out by name in the same sentence. Even if you call out 10 other rappers by name in the same sentence.
It only becomes relevant when it's Drake.
He's the hip-hop John Cena. Everyone claims that everyone else is better and that he can't wrestle, but he's always the biggest draw b/c the crowd doesn't get fully invested until you mention Cena.
Kendrick: *mentions Meek Mill* :
Meek: "Kendrick You Next" .......
Lupe: *goes at Kendrick *.....
J. Cole: *goes at Kendrick*
Kendrick/Meek/Lupe: *brings up Drake* ....
"Something's GOT to happen. There needs to be diss tracks."
Funny thing now is that he's one of the only "new school" guys with official diss tracks another new schooler, so why is the onus always on Drake to respond. It's always "Drake doesn't want it with ____", but if TRULY ____ wanted it with Drake, they'd get off Twitter, stop subbing, and make a track.
It's as if everyone wants Drake to make an individual pre-emptive diss track to every rapper that hints at wanting beef, so they can respond with an "Ether". Why doesn't anyone just drop the KO first like he did?
It's not that Drake doesn't want it with whoever you want him to beef with. It's that no one truly "wants it" with anyone or else it'd have happened already.
