You gotta admire his intelligence but questions shouldn't be a problem when you have answers....the problem he's going to face is that he's shown he's an outspoken person...so when you put out a video like the one for "bytch bad" people will assume sumone of his breed will have sumthin to say....."I just wanted to start a convo" and "I wuznt really trying to indict anybody" seems quite weak and like a cop out.....u can't use such an extreme imagery like blackface and then say "I'm not trying to indict anyone"....id prefer artist who want to make social statements in they musiconly make statements they are willing to standby...it would be like making a song called Fuk The Police then saying "I don't really care I just want y'all to talk about whether or not y'all like the police"....takes the power right outta the music imo...I came in hoping he'd explain the video bcuz that wuz really my only problem with the song...but no he didnt

Lupe says hes not really trying to tell us or teach us anything, and that he just trying to start conversation, but a lot of what he believes is obvious from the lyrics.

Lupe is that dude though.. none of his religion, influences or any of that shyt have anything to do with how I feel about his music.
