The fact it ends in reincarnation if you play front to back but literally ends on Nirvana/Liberation when played back to front seals the theory to me. Plus it just plays better backwards to me. T&Y was such a good album and I wasn't really a fan before.

:what::wtb:

fukk you talking about breh?
Notice how the "last" song on the album TRON says to proceed to the next level.

On the track Lupe is rapping from the perspective of "The Game" from The Cool saga. The theme of the album is the youth in the streets being trapped in an endless cycle of death and violence, The Game's agenda.

He cleverly sets the narrative up in the Winter portion of the album. The mothers in the hood (Madonna) give birth (Deliver) to the kids that the Game adores, his pawns.

(Madonna Delivered The Adoration of the Magi)

That's why there's no sounds of kids playing in the Winter interlude but the rest of them have it. The album played backwards tells the tale of some character dying, being reincarnated again and eventually breaking the cycle of the streets in the very final bars of Mural, the "last" song going in reverse. (defeat samsara, achieves Nirvana and brilliance)

Or something along those lines... some real fukkery going on with the concepts on here :mindblown:

People seem to think Kendrick was going for something similar with DAMN.

Why did it take me so long to listen to this full album? :dahell: I heard like 2 songs and never revisited the full project. :snoop:
The saxophone on Body of Work. :ohlawd: Madonna. :mjcry:
The strings present throughout the album. :whew:
Obviously the lyrics. The vocals(Lupe's harmonizing is underrated too) That group track, memorable hooks throughout :ahh:
Never too late to get on good music, played myself by taking so long with this one but:lawd:
PROCEED TO THE NEXT LEVEL

Bruh, it took me 10 years to finally get into this guy. I'm finally seeing the genius.

He's got music that keeps on giving.

He just bumped mos def from my #5 spot on my goat list.

Was listening to this a few days ago. This honestly has gotten better for me. I still don't fully understand Little Death though lol.
