Sense he can’t make songs that or sophisticated yet accessible I’ll give you this... Lupe has a single “Superstar” that was produced by an in-house producer Soundtrakk and singer Matthew Santos, no Atlantic placements just straight from 1st & 15th. The song was a hit and went platinum.
Name me a hit single by Kendrick as big as Superstar that doesn’t have big name producer credits or a famous feature.

You could argue the same for Kendrick,the streets only gave him a listen due to his cosigns. The fact is Kendricks shyt stuck,I don't remember ever meeting a nikka who really fukked with Kick Push as heavy as you are claiming,certainly no one who would be considered as part of "the streets"
and dont be naive,alot of politics go on behind the scenes for rappers to magically land on big named artist songs as features.

Writing overly complex metaphor heavy, lyrical miracle songs is not strong song writing. Kendrick writes better hooks than Lupe and his verses are strong while still being accessible. Lol at not being close. Kendrick's albums are better and composed of better songs how is Kendrick not even close in song writing to Lupe?
I agree with this. I know Lu is a better MC and lyricist than Kenny, but Kenny's albums are better. And while K might not be the lyricist that Lu is, he's far from garbage as an MC as well.

You're in the minority on Damn and GKMC. GKMC was special. Damn is damn good, but only overrated by mufukkaz acting like it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. But even that goes for everybody.
