My ONLY knock against this album is that I wish he would've kept the concept going instead if just dropping it.

The quality doesn't dip but it's a weird choice to just start an album like that and switch it up.

I thought it was a parallel concept album on slavery. The first part touched on our ancestors, obviously, and the second part mostly focusing on Lupe's serfdom @ Atlantic Records.
