Atlanta is not going to stop the New England but can they get any pressure on Brady? That is the question. Curious on what Beli gameplan is for Julio Jones. Julio is the best receiver in the league and I'm interested in the matchup with him and the New England secondary.

A QB trying to get his first ring vs a Hof QB going for his 5th

A franchise trying to bring a championship to its city ala the Cubs

I mean the storylines are there, people heads are in thier ass cause the Falcons arent the sexy team to them :yeshrug:

I think many people wanted the Brady v.s. Rodgers story-line. However, this match-up will get some really good hype as well especially with this Falcons offense.

outside of brady going for his 5th and being on a post-deflate gate "fukk you" tour, those aren't appealing storylines. atl aint some perennial loser, epic fail, down and out city (or franchise) like the cubs or cleveland/detroit.

the storylines all revolve around brady/beli/and the pats...a team that 31 other fanbases hate. that plus the falcons not really having a character other fans can rally behind/care about (a la cam newton, marshawn lynch)...it's easy to see why people are kinda :ld: about the matchup right now :yeshrug:

Falcons got pressure on Rodgers today and hes far more mobile than Brady..

And the beauty of the Falcons offense is, Even if Julio gets shut down
Matt can spread the ball to Sanu, Hardy, Hooper, Gabriel ect

Falcons have won games this season when Julio has only gotten about 1-2 catches in a game.

Like I said in the other thread, you need to be able to get pressure on Brady with only 4. Dude is on a different tier vs the blitz. Although an exotic blitz may work every now and then, Brady is just too good at reading defenses, calling an audible and shredding it.

Belichick will probably double Julio and try to the let rest of the Falcons beat them. Falcons have some nice weapons for that, but Pats also have more than capable defenders to handle that as well.

Atlanta will have to strike early. Belichick makes some tremendous 2nd half adjustments that take away what worked in the first half. Those Steelers underneath passes and handoffs got shut down real quick today during the 2nd half. Falcons are going to need their players to get every single possible yard they could early before Belichick and the players make adjustments.
