Super Bowl is an entirely different animal. I would throw out everything that happened in the regular season. Only one top ten all-time scoring offense has ever won the game (1999 Rams) and that includes the 2007 & 2012 Patriots. Now I'm not saying the Falcons won't put up points, but to think they are going to steamroll the Patriots is nuts.

These are two very good teams so to expect a blowout seems a little cocky to me.

Eli beat us with balls that had no business being caught. Great coaching (from the Parcells tree no doubt) put him in a possession to even be able to do that. So I'm not taking credit away.

I sat on aluminum benches at Foxboro stadium in the late 80s early 90s through the 1 and 2 and 4 or 5 win seasons. Tony Eason is easy. That's an easy Google. How many remember our supposed savior Leonard Russel and that disappointment? That's a true test.

It was so depressing as a kid watching them lose every game that virtually every one I knew had a backup team. Mine was the Broncos because I liked John Elway so much.

Also not sure why you got a Falcons fan dapping all your posts. If there were ever any protypical bandwagoners it would be modeled after a Falcons fan.

They briefly showed up for the dirty bird year, disappeared until Vick, and then disappeared again until a few years ago.

From outside of New England? Maybe. But at least we don't have bandwagoners from within the teams claimed home. Boston is usually the top sports city year after year in every.single.ranking. There are no fair weather bandwagon fans.

Then look at a city like Atlanta. Nikkas don't even start paying attention to sports unless everyone else is doing it and they want to conform.
