I heard a caller on 92.9 The Game in Atlanta make a great point this morning. He said that this wasn't on Kyle Shanahan, it falls on Matt Ryan. You are the MVP of the league, you have to know to audible out of those plays when your are at the 25 and just need a field goal. You just have to know that. Brah was about to cry.

Another thing to think about is how Atlanta wasted timeouts. Called one early, then challenged the Edelman catch which was a bad challenge. On the flip side, Patriots had all three. Worst part is, ATL with the lead, instead of running the ball to chew up clock and force NE to burn timeouts, let them keep all of them, and had none.

Then they had a chance with 40 seconds left to drive the field but couldn't do shyt, since they had no timeouts. I thought ATL fired Mike Smith to get away from the bad clock management shyt??

I'm just reflecting on the game, it's a total breakdown at all levels. Playcalling, time management, everything.

The Falcons were up 25 points with 24 minutes to play in the game. Do you know how bad you have to fukk up to lose a game in that situation?

All Kyle Shanahan had to do was go to a run heavy offense, this would have had an ancillary benefit to rest the Atlanta defense, who was on the field all second half. I don't care who you are, you can't pass rush 70 times in a game. The Pats didn't have enough time to come back if the game was managed properly.

Click management. Why didn't the falcons just run Freemon? Why is Matt snapping the ball on 20 seconds instead of letting the play clock dwindle down? It's all on coaching staff and Matt Ryan for leaving points on the field and too much time on the clock. I'm still in awe. Shocked. Such a great game to witness. The Julio and Edleman catch were legendary. Just a great display of football...

Not really a bad challenge...you are up 8..you are thinking of getting a stop to end the game....not getting the ball back with TO's left....hell at normal speed you couldn't tell if the ball hit the turf or not.....and the Pats rushed to the line so ATL didn't have time to get a good look at it....that's 23 yards that you have to take a chance on...you go from ball at their own 36 to the ATL 41...
