Reminds me of Patrick Willis. Damn shame. This is why I never blame any player in any sport for getting paid the max amount. Get in, get out.
PWill definitely started a trend

Only 28 and he's 7x All Pro (5x 1st team), 3x Butkus Award winner, youngest Defensive Rookie of the Year ever, youngest Defensive Player of the Year ever....not to mention one of the best college seasons for a linebacker ever....unless they claim guys who retire at 28 can't be in the Hall then it's hard to see how you keep him out. He’s absolutely a HOFer are you retarded?
You think everyone announces their retirement for clout or some shyt?Nobody cares about this. shoulda waited till after SB to announce it
There goes Isiah Simmons...snatched right before the Cards pic
Luke saw that clip and got and retired
Lynch out chea saving players lives with his inspirational speaking
Defensive rookie of the yearFirst ballot on a seven year career and no rings?
I disagree on first ballot but time will tell.Defensive rookie of the year
Defensive player of the year in his second year
5 first team all pro
2 second team
Been top 3 if not the best at his position since he hit the league.
It’s not even a question
He, Brian Urlacher, and (especially) London Fletcher are dinosaurs. I doubt we'll ever see that type of longevity at that position again. Game is just too physical/fast now.It also shows how much of an animal Ray Lewis was that he played that position for 17 seasons

That's my future HOF middle linebacker.... Can't say I'm shocked; ever since that hit that had him crying on the field, I had a feeling this day would come sooner rather than later.
