Luka got that classic old mans game. Dude plays at his on own speed.
He’s slow and looks a tad out of shape, but dude is crafty, knows how to play within his limitations, he has is an excellent passer, and that little set jumpshot is deadly once he gets it going.
Dallas needs to get him another legit perimeter scoring option that create shots for himself in critical late game situations and a big that can rebound and defend the basket if they want to complete with a team like the Warriors out west.

I think the biggest difference is that he's like 5 years younger than prime Harden.
Unlike this haters I think it's unfair to say that Harden always is trash in the playoffs, his two mos likely ring-runs he got knocked out by the cheat Warriors. One of which he went 7 games vs the splash brothers + KD, that swept Lebron.

Paul Pierce played at that speed and he could dominate at times. And Pierce was a better defender by time he got with KG and Shuttlesworth... actually pretty damn good when he didn't feel pressed to get buckets.
Yeah, Luka is similar to "the truth"... But Luka needs to get after it on defense much more...he can lock in a few possession, but he not consistent.
