Oh they're my team but the Boys have been coasting off legacy and $$$$ for too long. Jerral craves attention and the media gives it to him. Stephen loves money and the Cowboys brand gives it to him.
They already have 3 rings since 1989, so the internal desire to win more isn't that strong. They "want" to win but they're not going to make any moves that are uncomfortable or take juice away from the Jones family. Having the top NFL valuation and making all the money from merch and biz deals plus having the Star as a brand keeps them happy and well fed.
No one cares about the Stars/Mavs/Rangers if they suck so those teams know they have to actually "do" something. Cowboys just want to be competitive. Whole culture is focused on everything but winning.
