Jimmy is a better bet to win now since he has taken over series in playoffs as the lead guy. You couldve had him and whatever else you wanted from the Heat. How does AD fit better on a team with two defensive bigs that cant shoot already?

Looking from a GM standpoint AD is probably the easiest superstar puzzle piece (emotionally and ability) to plug in to any system in recent years besides maybe Steph. Jimmy has some emotional baggage. You can’t be sure how a team will respond by adding him. It’s risky, especially because he isn’t as good a player either. A lot of risk dealing with Jimmy right now and his value isn’t as high because it’s foregone that he is a Miami Heat.
