If he does anything it’ll be in the offseason and he’ll decline a player option and sign somewhere that he actually wants

I’m gonna assume he likes the “never been traded” mark on his career.

But the Lakers FO have listened to Lebron and AD very little.

I know people like to bring up Russ, but that’s was a mutual decision based on the Lakers wanting 3 stars. There are about 15 different examples of the Lakers doing the exact opposite of what Bron wants
Not re-signing in the offseason would be an interesting move, especially cause he could go to a contender on a vet minimum if he wanted to and then I know that would piss people off lol.

No

Lebron is bordering on retirement and has a player option after this year. Lebron might not be a Laker next year. They have their “guy” for the future.

Luka is the guy. Why would you consult Lebron?
Do you expect me to believe Lebron didn't ok this move beforehand? Lol.

Come on now..

Granted I've said all along AD had to go for the Lakers to even have a chance at a reset after Klutch fuhked the team up
Well, look, I truly believe the Lakers did not consult Bron, and I can understand why because it's a conflict of interests. They didn't want to put that pressure on LeBron having to choose between having loyalty to his brother, AD, and choosing a generational superstar in Luka, but also they had to do what was in the best interests of the team moving forward...

Yes, we all know throughout Bron's career, he's had major influence within the team from offices when it comes to team decisions around trades and signings, but that was when he was younger and had plenty of years left in the league so losing him was something teams didn't want to risk so they let him have influence in management decisions.

He's older now, 40 years old, and has another year or two before he retires, the Lakers did what was best for their future and I don't wanna say it like this because LeBron is my favorite player but the reality is that and I say this with all due respect, there's no longer any incentive or reason to kiss his ass anymore because he's 40 with retirement knocking on the door, worrying about how he feels no longer matters in the grand scheme because he won't be a part of their future regardless, so there's no fear of losing him, just off the fact he's 40 years of age with retirement around the corner.

Yeah nobody will remember the era that started when the greatest player ever signed with the premier team in the league and then won a title after the tragic death of the franchises biggest star and then ended with the most shocking trade in NBA history. Every one is going to forget…
Michael Jordan has never played for the lakers.

Nobody will remember care about this mediocre ass era except you stans

I’m still shocked and dumbfounded at this deal :gucci:

How do you have one of the greatest assets in basketball history and not shop him around the league if you’re done with him? Kicking Luka to the curb when he really hasn’t even hit his prime yet who brought you to a WCF and a Finals appearance is crazy enough. But then to just get that package from the Lakers is even crazier. And I love the way Davis is playing this year and I’m not trying to slight him at all, it’s just the Mavs quite literally fleeced themselves.
