People using that word too often nowadays. Bubbles exist when you have asset prices rising due to demand that is either manipulated or somehow artificial/temporary. The people paying these crazy ticket prices have money and will continue to have it whether there is a recession or not. The NBA/NFL etc are getting big bucks for tv/media rights, billionaire owners are making more money than ever and even if we slide into a fullblown economic depression it's not like you're going to decide not to watch basketball anymore lol
