Powell looked good last night but we need a legit 4.

Luka on defense is not what that is. Having DJ isn't the same as having Chandler either. Chandler would stay in foul trouble cause he was trying to protect the rim. DJ ain't gonna foul you, if you're not intimidated, it's an easy layup.

DSJ looks like the same player from last yr. he didn't improve anything. Thought homie would be in the lab after hearing about how good his peers were

Hopefully that was just Game 1 rust/tiredness from the China trip for DSJ. Really don't need one of the two cornerstones for the future turning out to be just a chucker who can dunk

As much pressure that is on Luka, it's on DSJ the same. He'll get some of the blame for Luka being trash if he doesn't improve his game and excel in a role that's essentially new to him (playing off the ball)

It's just one game but DSJ game naturally is to have the ball in his hand and make plays, playing off the ball, I think we'll see him regress but it's a long season and I kinda trust the coaching staff.

Yea I'm interested to see how he plays off the ball. I feel like he's trying to do too much and show he's better than Luka. He needs to learn to use a floater and how to finish around the rim.

yup dsj and luka have injected energy back into the franchise. but deandre is the main one who was getting the crowd hype. i wish we signed him long term.
