I think he stopped really having Shondrae/Bangladesh produce most of his album too which made his later albums wacker.

Didn't like Theater of the Mind, always thought Release Therapy was his greatest effort post 2003 (shyt, if anything, Red Light Dist. was better than Theater imo - and that album ass cheeks. Luda taking himself too seriously is a recipe for whack-saster).

if rick ross who's considered one of the hottest rappers at the moment can't go gold I'm not surprised if Luda struggles to sell, he's more of an actor than a rapper now (and maybe always has been)
