Jimmy details is on Geaux247 now he dropped some tidbit

LOL--my views on who gets out of Louisiana are likely quite different than yours. It starts with the rankings honestly. My rankings are vastly different than the networks, so it would start there.

For example--Beeby Causey (Bernard) should be offered. He is better than the majority of the commits and has more upside. But I don't get paid to do that stuff.

Mack isn't coming here, so there's that.

As for Simmons, LSU is in the driver's seat. There's still a lot of time, but there was a plan put in place and it may just hold up over time.

@904Lurker i might be wrong on Mack looks like a Texas-Florida battle

man LSU sports is doing great with baseball, football, women's basketball in recent years

first it was coach O who bounced around certain places where he saw how to win at miami and USC, and was then denied the USC head coaching job because of his accent and then everything fell into place in that 2019 dream season. nick saban in this millennium showed us how to win again starting with the recruiting pipelines that he later rerouted to alabama, smh, and les miles basically won the natty with nick saban's last recruiting class in 07 but then fumbled the 2011 game and things fell apart with sexual allegations in the last years of les miles where we could have ended like baylor where people still treat les miles as some type of folk hero instead of disgraced like art briles Bombshell report claims LSU mishandled sexual misconduct allegations against football players where guice ended up being the scapegoat for everything instead of it being rampant locker room culture where winning usually irons everything out

then scott woodward another louisiana native came home on some 'prodigal son returns' deal from being the AD at washington and TAMU where he basically orchestrated the greatest hat trick in terms of football HC hiring. he got chris peterson from winning the fiesta bowl at boise state vs coach stoop's sooners to wash, then he lured fraud ass jimbo fisher from FSU to continue wearing that ugly ass maroon burgundy color -- hell miss st need to also consider changing their school colors, when rumors were rampant that jimbo was going to go to LSU and fukk up the program....jimbo won his natty by squatting to be HC with bobby bowden's last recruiting class and pipeline -- jimbo is just the QB whisperer but can't seem to win at recruiting the players that matter at winning consistently -- jimbo basically broke their bowl streak because he gave up recruiting and cared more about securing the bag than being cognizant at winning with all position groups, and the only reason he's still at TAMU is because the buyout is expensive as hell and his record isn't as good as kevin sumlin but those board of trustees couldn't wait to run kevin sumlin out of town despite him winning against alabama and nitpicked the hell out of him...jimbo went 2-6 in the SEC last year and there are still people who gullibly believe he can turn the program around when he's clearly a fish out of water despite all the NIL deals of attracting talent but couldn't convert them into wins -- nowadays, they consider it a massive victory that they won against LSU and revitalized that rivalry than actually being a playoff contender, how white privilege plays a role in moving the goal post when jimbo is clearly a snake oil salesman, where his team just gives up later in his FSU tenure, and a glorified OC disguised at HC at best....good thing scott did his research and TAMU was dumb enough to spend all their oil money hiring jimbo and promptly went back to his home state to complete the big game hunter hat trick of hiring brian kelly

to be honest, i didn't count BK's division 2 record in football, which would have made him the winningest active coach past nick saban but for the recruiting resource to be fair and to win with scheme based on the players they got, it was impressive. tbh, i hated the years when notre dame was independent and finagled their way into the national title game with alabama when they were clearly outmatched. notre dame when they removed michigan off their schedule every year felt like a cowardly move because kelly couldn't defend against denard robinson or the spread offense for the longest time. in the playoffs, notre dame faced off against clemson which would have just been the ACC title game had notre dame completely joined the conference and not cherry picked their relatively easy opponents in stanford, northwestern, the military academies every year in terms of football rivalry tradition. but BK left a playoff contender just for their new coach to fumble their talent so it was awfully hard to win at an overtly catholic school with high standards that their past quarterbacks were caught cheating on assignments with tutors doing their homework and they called him rogue. certain people of religious upbringing just know how to take the fall and be the fall guy, that's why the vatican church has been around for this long despite them diddling little boys. somehow, LSU has the parish catholic french cajun ties so BK transitioned right in. BK was responsible for the death of 2 students and removed people off the team the minute they were found out to not get any NCAA infractions. he's on top of it but may the biggest cheater win and present the optics of a clean program -- the lance armstrong method in football, as NIL finally became legitimized to pay players up front but then they don't play as hard because payments are not aligned with on the field performance, just their perception of a 5 star or past stats of doing well

it's like for every 5 star coach, they have to earn their stripes and prove themselves elsewhere because LSU was influenced by segregationists like Troy Middleton, whose name was on the campus library until 2020. LSU strips segregationist name from library after board vote after katrina, the infrastructure was slowly rebuilding up but LSU literally didn't have the mental bandwidth to process that collegiate sports are dominated by black athletes and we shouldn't be bound to the rules from the 50s to present black athletes with no swag, no kneeling, no out of bounds derogatory behavior that would otherwise upset the white fanbase somehow, like you have to please the overseers at the roman coliseum when you're literally giving up blood and limb for the sake of a someone else's entertainment and you can't even be yourself over the sport you love? these new coaches get it -- allow the athletes to be themselves

south eastern louisiana is one of the few places where you can run your mouth and say things as they are and be respected for your opinion, probably because you don't know who's drunk and can take a swing at you so you just learn to have things said to you until the truth comes out sooner instead of this overbearing southern etiquette class that is forced upon the deep south as well as the midwest to just soft shoe and passive aggressively tap dance around the topic but always have a bone to pick without the other party even realizing it, on some call the cops west coast karen shyt. say what you mean and mean what you say and get that shyt over with...hell, fight somebody about it if you need to get your point across and be brazenly unabashedly yourself in the backdrop of laidback creole cajun culture. the football programs with a rich recruiting base but are too afraid to talk in fear of taboo or let their players be themselves are still clueless on how to attract recruits and win because the classism and racism shouldnt divide a group of people trying to win for the same cause, but it does because of pompous hand-me-down confederate ideology passed down from how kids are taught to think at home and sometimes outright in private school or places like clemson or even georgia where good ol' boys like tim scott and hershell walker exists on some separate and not equal shyt....the more north you go into arkansas, the more white flight racist it becomes, despite half the recruiting class of arkansas coming from louisiana

kim mulkey is another coach to return to her hometown stomping grounds dominate in collegiate sports.... she let her players talk smack, do the tony yayo hand gesture, and rap on her team as long as it doesn't interfere with them being productive, and then ESPN was all over that race topic about players seen doing the same thing but getting different reactions from the (opposing or overall) fanbase because it offends white people unless it's a white person doing it, then it's considered white woman empowerment, smh. les miles may have been too loose and allowing too many big cat aka oklahoma drills contributing to more CTE and sexual harassment cases but coach O realized to let certain things fly to contribute to the swag of the program and not have integrity go downhill from there despite coach o getting divorced after their kids turned 18 which coincidentally was also after the natty win of him cat calling booster's wives. mulkey proved herself at a christian school but should see more success at a flagship university to get more instate recruits.

don't care much about baseball. the coach is from california, and the team really put away their ego or early draft qualifications for the sake of the team winning the national title, removing the only thing vanderbilt has going on for them. there's different variations of baseball over time like cricket and rounders but american baseball and the rules that we know of it today is invented by african american slaves as documented in the diaries of southern plantation owners as early as 1773, where baseball is played in the field, those same plantation fields, and there are ways to elongate the game so they don't have to go back to working the field, where slaves are beaten for even playing the game rather than working the field. the rules of how it's played are later reintroduced by a southerner to the northern states and it took off from there with the different leagues and using capitalism to drive the sport with sponsorships, but the negro leagues have long mastered the sport because they invented it, from the cotton-matted bases to the sugar molded into balls, the literal crops that were harvested were converted into baseball equipment, and then it got whitewashed to become a predominant white sport...hell, hockey was invented by blacks in canada and it got whitewashed, too...take back all those sports that we invented and dominate them

also, hiring a black president for optics that LSU is turning the page in acceptance and having him getting wild in casual attire and not be on his obama shyt for the women's basketball champion speech also helps....let your wild flag fly...this is probably the only state and program that allows for you to be truly yourself and you can fit in without having to conform to some pompous etiquette based on tradition from england or 'holier than thou' slavery times

he's going to get up and make more winner circle speeches if this winning keeps up

The team got into a big fight that dragged on way longer than it should have. Offense vs. Defense went after each other. They quickly all rushed into the fight and a big pile of guys went to the ground, etc.

To me, it look like it started with Malik Nabers vs. someone on defense. Looked like it was Harold Perkins, but others very quickly got involved. Denver Harris was right there, as was Kyren Lacy. When they finally pulled everyone off each other, Kelly kicked Nabers and Lacy both out of practice. There was still about an hour left, so it was significant to give the pair of starters the boot.

Kelly then stopped practice and called everyone together and went into a pretty stern coaching moment.

Sounds like this isn't the first time they got into it practice, and it's only been a few days. Kelly told them that if this is how they want to act, then get ready to go .500. He said with their current attitudes, they are going to lose as many games as they win. He then said it wasn't a coaching issue, but a player issue - and that requires leadership from the players. Kelly told the entire team to decide who are the leaders, and follow those guys.

After that, Kelly talked with Perkins for a while off to the side. He didn't send him to the locker room, though.

Obviously fall camp will bring these moments when tensions get high, but it was very clear Kelly had already seen enough of it, and they've only had four practices.

Curious to see if that's the end of it with the offense vs. defense this camp, because I could sense Kelly was at the end of his rope already.

Hope this isn’t so toxic that it hurts on field

BK wont even let players have games on their phones for fear of geolocation? ffs, wtf is this? who really cares outside of a few game developers and they don't even know what to do with that data anyways...if he blatantly said he's against tiktok because it's a simp magnet on some political stance (twitter is a dumpster fire and IG isn't that far off), i would understand that but this is some lockdown mode. what happened to do what you need to do with good decisions outside of practice as long it doesn't affect the team? what happened to let your wild flag fly because we win and have swag? this shouldn't be some military academy....culture values still clashing on year 2...idk why the players are fighting if it wasn't for trash talking/jealousy because of NIL...there's 22 starters on both sides of the ball and too much focus may be put on the QB, WR, and DBs for that product placement attention...NFLSU shouldn't stand for No Fun LSU, but at the same time, people who have natural talent sometimes don't work hard and just squanders it...i'm not sure if bringing more rules will bring more dogs to the fight...need players to roam free so they can play hard at the most critical times

he's a good coach but let players be themselves as long as we win...kim mulkey got it, why can't BK? the scout team needs to step up and not let the guys get hurt going against each other all the time

also noticed bama got back kevin steele after he was chasing the bag this whole time...no wonder saban's smiling, which is bad news for us

I think Colin Simmons goes to Texas, we’ll be ok but good luck to him becoming anything over there, their most notable alumni in the NFL is a kicker
