I generally don’t give this stuff too much mind anymore. It used to really bother me as a black man in his early 20s. Some young black women think like this and some of them hate black men but worship non-black men. I’ve met a decent amount at my local colleges and universities. It’s mind blowing at first and hurtful on some level.
Then you remember that most black women like black men and that it’s only a small segment of black women engaging in misandry. I blame certain elements of the black feminist movement. Not all black feminism or feminists are bad but the Alice Walkers, bell hooks and Michelle Wallaces of the world are the architects of anti-black male thought.
Best thing we can do as black men is openly denounce it like some of y’all have suggested.
