I think Black men would be foolish to ignore it. I felt we were when I created this thread in 2018. I seen the writing on the wall. I knew they weren't just serious, they were dangerous.
It's going to be hard to get the regular older BW on that divest shyt but the issue is the youth. You impact the youth, you can do damage. That's how BMs got fukked up in the game for a negative impact on the youth. You add no hope in sight of economic, political, or emotional support for Black men, you got a situation where a lot of BW will really end up hating BM, even when they are with them. I've dated a BW who hates BM who still dates BM. It's like dating a Nazi but knows their Black. It's a situation that could end your life. I am afraid for a lot of BM moving forward in 2020. Especially brehs who are educated and accomplished. It's not like other races are presenting quality options either in these times.
It will get worse before it gets better. The only way to change this is a massive change in the current system.
I have dated a woman who had some fukked ideas on race (BW/WM children turn out normal, BM/WW children turn out weird and disconnected from their blackness, black men hate black women, BW interracial dating is no issue, BM interracial dating is a problem, BW aren't protected, BM get help in the community and black women get nothing (!?), etc etc). Turns out she got them from TheShadeRoom/LSA. Searched her screen name and sure enough she had a lipstick alley handle. There wasn't much extreme stuff there, but there was a hint of white male worship (and after that white male criticism, seems she was dumped by a white guy and had the ever so common "pro-black" transformation). Honestly, just the fact that she had a lipstick alley account made me so wary I couldn't move forward with her. Too many red flags. This shyt is real, and anybody that thinks these sites don't influence black womens' viewpoints is insane.
