Lowkey, is it time to admit that OBJECTIVELY, Piccolo is the GOAT DBZ character?

Piccolo was always my favorite dbz character, even though I can acknowledge that after the Namek saga he was no longer one of the top guns.

Which in a way sucks/is weird right? The saga that features his home planet marks the downfall of his characters viability.

Piccolo fell off in the Buu saga, but that story was basura regardless. At that point, if you weren't a saiyan, then

Tien was the only other character who really got do do much of anything in that story, until he got oneshotted 5 seconds later
