Ross is one of the dopest artists turned CEO A&Rs ever because he doenst force his artists to conform to a certain sound. It's fun to watch and listen to.

Agree with everything except the bolded. Though he doesn't take his artists and make them into a one trick horse, it seems he requires them to have at least one of those "southern bangers" (lex luger/soutside/cardiak) (see tapes released after each artist has been under the MMG umbrella).

Well the thing is, Meek MAY do well but I really hope he does. Stalley will never drop because I feel like he is going to jump ship on some disgruntled shyt, he already threw a temper tantrum because his shyt isn't getting play. French is going to flop but Wale is his low key star.

... Wale was on the Go Go tip heavy, dunno what trap sound you heard in his music. Meek was asscheeks back in the day (that nikka just got nice, foh), but his whole sound was some Philly/club shyt

To get the thread back on point though, it wouldn't surprise me if Ross cranked out one more album then "retire" like Jay-Z did and focus on his brand. CBanks is right, he does have a lot on his plate. And he seems to want to be corporate more than anything else
