It's clear that Ross is structuring a business, back in the days he was just trying to put on dudes he knew from before fame and shyt like that. He realized that they were ass and went and got some dope MCs with proven solo music and grind.

He did what he could for the Triple C's dudes, Gunplay was the only one who was a "deeper than rap" friend. And they still fukk with each other.
He still fukks with the other dudes on the low though, I remember Torch for example dissing Jeezy around the time the beef was going down. He was also on Self Made pt. 1. It's obvious that Ross just wanted to start a new fresh label with cats from all over the place, cause he figured he'd done everything he could for the other cats.

Triple C's is a reminder of that horrible flop of a album that 50 clowned the shyt out of...Seems reasonable to me and like a smart move,y'all overate Gunplay anyway.....No artist wants to brand his new succesful group with the old wack unsuccesful one....Ross just don't wanna remind people of the past...same reason you'll never see him walkin aroundin blue slacks with yellow stripes goin down the side,twirlin a billy club singing "bad boys bad boys what u gonna doooo,what u gonna do when they come for you".

Reminds me of a potential 50 Cent/Bang Em Smurff situation.. They were tight in the beginining but soon as you move up and you start making career moves and your peoples you came up with still wanna do reckless street shyt. It got to be really tough to tell them to fall back and they still do it. Especially when its the only thing that they really know.You gotta retrain these dudes and its tough. and ross still fukk wit gunplay hard, the other triple c members got lost in the shuffle, gunplay is still around, get ft from everybody, ross, meek, wale, got for ft from wayne, and all type of shyt, torch still get ft from all the members of mmg on mixtapes, breed just wack

and that triple c album was nice and since ross bout to leave def jam, def jam putting triple c's on the back burner(they aint sell nothin to warrant another release), probably wont get another album from them, def jam just keeping them on the roster cause they close to ross
