It's crazy how these white women just ward off criticism by "coming out". Shorty was just a thot. She did Robert Pattinson dirty. She smashed her married director. But since she "came out" all of that gets wiped away.Product of her birth place, know about the streets
Clean in the work place, dirty in the sheets
Keeps her own toaster, makes her own bread
Lady in the streets, but a freak in the bed
Can't wait. Catching in Portugal this weekendReally dope flick, Glass is 2/2 for me. Actually was impressed with how relentlessly horny this was, lol. An unhinged story with some genuine laugh-out-loud moments sprinkled in and the soundtrack was absolute heat. Some violent bits, more specifically the body horror that I'm a sucker for, was reminiscent of the fukkery in Friedkin's 'Killer Joe'. Ed Harris' presence in this reminded me of the late, great David Carradine in Kill Bill. Not a dig at all to 'Drive-Away Dolls', but this is definitely more of my speed for a lesbian fueled neo-noir. Will be watching again.
That ending though. I'm 99.9% certain my audience would've been dying with laughter had there been more than 5 people in there with me. One of those moments where I'm thinking "Did that really just happen? It did, and I'm not on shrooms either." I'm sure there will be some who won't fukk with it, but I was strapped in for the ride. Katy did the She-Hulk thing better than the newest She-Hulk, and I know she's glad to get away from the Marvel circus.
I'm also enjoying seeing Kristen Stewart embracing more of these outlandish projects. Her and Pattinson have really had no problems with brushing that 'Twilight' dust off their shoulders with the way they've became beloved indie darlings in the film community.
Amazing usage of Throbbing Gristle. 'Hamburger Lady' is basically a cheat code in being able to unsettle your audience, I'm shocked the track isn't used more often in films...especially in the horror genre.
Ah, I didn't think there would be a thread for this, considering how the coli leans sometimes lol. But I'll just repeat what I said in the other thread here. I really liked this movie a lot. Even though there's nothing necessarily original here in terms of plot, the characters and the way the movie was shot felt fresh. It just all came together very nicely, and kept me on the edge of my seat. I had no idea how it would end. I really hope we get to see more Katy O'Brian because she's amazing to look at. The camera loves her, and Kristen Stewart was the most believable here than she's ever been. I also though Ed Harris was creepy AF in a great way. Now I have to go and check out this director's first film, which I hear is fantastic too.
Two ugly dykes in an erotic thriller. Ill wait for streaming.
