I don't know if it's because of location but I feel like the level of blandness is tied into that. These couples arguments were monotone and their problems weren't even real problems. A lot of their issues were ridiculous and/or too much stuff was happening off camera or getting edited out which doesn't do the viewer any good. That makes it seem very scripted. I can't even tell if these people are legit looking for partners or just want the 15 minutes of fame now.

I'm shocked that the Taylor chick even got married because the ego on her was insane enough to think that a dude followed her in IG,scoped it out,unfollowed her,came on a dating show where they can't see each other, systematically went through all the dates until he randomly got to her and then used all her IG bio info to make her fall in love with him. Like bytch are you serious.

First episode before I watched my homeboy puts in the group chat "That Madison girl is an agent of chaos,wait for it." and all the females in the chat didn't believe it. Madison had two guys talking to her then tried to make one of them feel bad for talking to another girl on a show where people are supposed to talk to multiple people and decide what's best for them. Once she found out who the other girl was it wasn't even about looking for love anymore. She just wanted to ruin something. The way she came back from the pods patting herself on the back like she exposed a cheater to protect the sisterhood that didn't even exist let's you know she was an agent of chaos. She went out of her way to ruin Mason and Meg because she thought she was going to ride off into the sunset with Alex but he saw her for the chaos agent she is after Mason came back. She ruined two potential marriages just to have a gotcha moment on a show where people are supposed to date multiple people. Then came to the hangout looking stupid and upset that she didn't stop them from linking up. Played a stupid game and won a stupid prize. The prize was herself.

Dave and Lauren situation is weird because we don't know what the other dude is saying,we don't know what Daves friends are saying, and we don't know what his sister is saying. All that said, you supposed to put your WIFE before all those people. The information we got was vague and Lauren was revising it on the fly. The information we got varied from hookup to date to friend with benefits. The information Dave could've got could've been some shyt like she was dudes sex slave concubine that he let the homies run a trains on during halftime of the Superbowl or some shyt and there's videos. We just don't know. My theory is that dude is black and Daves ego and his friends are too fragile to deal with the fact that she was living in a blacked scene. It has that watching the neighborhood thot get a boyfriend from somewhere else who doesn't know her history and is walking through her neighborhood holding her hands and kissing her vibes.I'm not defending Dave though. His sister dictating his love life is creepy and he dragged that whole thing out and did one of the worst things you can do to a partner. He left her on edge so long that she was more relieved than sad at the hangout whereas he got drunk and realized none of those people he imploded that relationship for were there or were going to fukk him so he tried to slide back in but Lauren already switched back to for the streets mode. A lot of this could've been avoided if she would've just gave him some p*ssy early if we being honest.

Sara's idealism and Ben's didn't line up in the pods. Going further with it then making it a deal breaker at the end was stupid on her part. If you want to take your straight husband to a gay pride parade then you probably shouldn't be with the hardcore conservative christian whose already made it clear he doesn't really care about those kind of social issues. Even when they went to his church there wasn't anything crazy happening that they showed. She made it seem like the pastor had a sermon about hating the gays. She's another one who let her sister influence her decision way too much. Someone about Ben seemed off. He has that pedo mustache so I could see him having a weird case but he kinda was who he was. Sara was the one trying to hope he'd see the world how she did even though he never gave any indication that he wanted to.

Monica and caveman ( I really don't remember these peoples names) had to be scripted actors because there's absolutely no way they go through the whole season with zero problems , equally weird, equally quirky, equally goofy, and then both get up to the altar and say nah you're not the person for me. Unless something crazy didn't make it on air,that looked like a match made in heaven. Even her sister was hating because they were super happy. This couple is the biggest argument for Love is Blind being scripted.

Virginia is just this years really hot girl that's on a dating show because the type of guys she likes don't want her long-term. The just clapping and keep it moving. You can tell because they always say the line about getting away from dating the guys they normally date. That's hoe speak for I date people who even though I'm a hot girl, they're high value men who don't really need me because they can get multiple hot girls.Her love of clear heels a red flag too. I wouldn't be shocked to hear she was at some point in some Minnesota athletes rosters of women. I think she played the cameras very well so she came off calm and mellow but it was obvious she wasn't into him just off looks. She was going through the motions. I think she dragged it out because she really wants a husband to have a husband but she did not want Devin and that's why she wanted the prenup. She thought some Jalen Hurts looking dude was going to be on a dating show,be a youth basketball coach, and financially match her. That's not how life works. They were never going to last because she thinks she can do better because she can't handle making more money than her man. Devin would've been way happier with the basketball coach chick and he might've got some threesomes out of it and great conversations. I think he sees what his parents have and wants that but Virginia is in her boss bytch Beyonce mode cause he made less than her.

Nah those are just the observations I see while watching. I don't even know most of their names until they're out of the pods. It's one of the few shows I would watch with my girl but season 7 dropped and Florida was in the middle of a hurricane so my whole group chat group watched each episode together on hurricane lockdown and it was great because the gender dynamics and comedy of the chat.

Like yesterday we were talking about the difference between when the guys find out they're talking to the same person vs when the women do. The men be giving each other daps and hyping each other up whereas the women turn into the cold war.,spies playing both sides,fake smiles,real animosity,lip reading, etc
