The starting salary for a lawyer in big law is currently 215k in NYC. Depending on the firm, a Chicago office would pay the same or 20k less. A corporate lawyer in big law at his age is making over 300k. Deepti is some sort of data analyst and would be making like 80kish. At most he was making 20k more per year than her. At his age, and with his degree, he’s dating women of comparable education and his salary would not dwarf any of them. You’re talking like he’s trying to date women fresh out of college. He’s doing okay for himself - no question but he’s not making any sort of money that would make a woman in his ballpark lower their standards. You keep defending Ol boy like he’s your mans lol.
