On reflection, the only 'joke' in the special that was worth anything was the part about Negro Spirituals.

He compared women faking during sex and men thinking they're doing a great job to masters thinking because the slaves were singing that they liked slavery.

He's still smart, this MeToo shyt just took the fire outta him.

He's without a doubt very funny and talented, his old specials are fantastic and definitely shyt on the PC bullshyt of society. However I tried to watch 2017 last week, couldn't get through it and it felt like he hadn't worked out the material enough. Some funny ideas where I smiled at the setup, but they didn't really go anywhere.

Is this better than 2017?

I always thought his delivery was never great. The material even now is very good though.

some quick ones off the top of my head:

has a bit called "fakkit, c*nt, ****** deer" from before 2010
his show "Louie" from FX had some instances of the word
-there was an episode in the 1st season where he and his daughters visited his grandmother, and she kept saying it. He gets white people to say it on his shows
-in the 3rd season he was on a date with pam adlon at an Art Museum and they were using this old machine. when u press the button it would make a noise. When Louie pressed the button on it, it yelled out loud, "N*GGER!!!!" and then when Pam pressed it, it just made some random noises. The N-word noise was in louie's voice BTW

He had that special on HBO where he was talking with Seinfeld, Chris Rock, and Gervais. And gervais and Louie went on a tirade about the word. Both said it. Louie started it

He created a show with Pam Adlon called "Better Things"
-there was an episode where Lenny Kravitz guest starred and he was eating dinner with Pamela Adlon's character's family. And Pam's mom tells a story where she kept saying "N*gger brown" in front of Kravitz
-One of the girls that plays Pam's daughter used that dumbass quote "The woman is the ****** of society"


He does the Tarantino thing where White people say it in his shows. It's unnecessary and leaves a bad taste in black people's mouths to say the least.

I don't actually think Louis is a racist, it's just that most of his jokes that are supposed to be racist are not funny...so they just come off as racist...

This special was ok...but Louis been in the game so long and he obviously doesn't have the same energy for it now...
