What are some of the best exercises to do to drop pounds? And how many are needed for a good day?

I've read squats are good. Some burpies and plank crawling are useful.

Is a combo of walking and jogging better than doing one or the other?

The answer is bodyweight exercises. Do pushups. 4 sets of 25 upon waking, 4 sets of 25 before sleeping. Same with body squats. 4/25

Pushups keep the arms tone. A lot of people think the bicep makes or breaks the arm but a defined triceps puts it together. It'll keep your chest firm too and tone your shoulders. The squats will help your quads and glutes.

Squats and pushups are great for standard maintenance. If you want more of an athletic build do squats pushups lunges and pull ups.

Jump rope is great I've leaned out so much since I've added it to my workout regimen back in July. There would days where I couldn't make the gym to use the weights but I'd still be able to jump rope for the usual thirty to forty minutes.
