I like Lorde . Even though her performances are weird as fukk I like her voice and song style. With that said I'm tired of anti establishment sentiment that is constantly paraded by hipster culture. Her argument makes no sense. Who cares if you can't relate to it? Does me growing up in the burbs with both my parents man that I can't enjoy Dead Presidents, etc.?

She's not actually dissing the music though, just saying that she realised it wasn't really for her and she wanted to make music her and her friends could actually relate to :yeshrug:

dont u find it weird how she signed to a major yet her schtick is much more suited for and indy label.

her whole steez is contradictory and will not effect her at all in this day in age.

I was specifically talking about his albums, So Far Gone, Take Care and Thank me Later.

Not hooks on Birdman songs, even Bono might have to fukk around and spit ballin hooks if he's on a birdman song.

Forgot about the motto, since it's not on any of his original albums but add that as well.

Imo rapper or singers who wanna talk about their life should not censor it.

Money To Blow was actually Drake's song, that after he signed, magically became Birdman's song.

"Royals" is a refreshing song that speaks to the excessiveness in our music. Similar to how rappers had to come and end the "bling bling" era over a decade ago.

The rest of Lorde's album is actually good and yall should give it a shot.

You sound kinda upset for a nikka who has "outgrown" hip hop culture.

And you do this ranting and raving under the auspice of pro-blackness when all she's doing is commenting on the same kind of content and behavior that is leading you to leave hip hop alone. Some of the same things that most people would say are far more detrimental to black america than the criticism of the same...

Then you top it off, by putting up the fat signal for one of the most negative, materialistic, fraudulent, stereotypical rappers to come and "save us".

Defeat your own argument brehs. :troll:
