Your opinion. But who in DITC was he better than? All of them were rapper/producer accept for Big L and OC, and we know there is no comparison lyrically there. But lyrically he wasn’t better than none of the producers except Buck who didn’t rap. Definitely not fukkin with Milano. As far as TS, everyone in that crew at some point wrote some of his shyt so there is that. Joe had some sort of street juice or something as to why they even fukked with him. His rise is really unexplained and this isn’t some new narrative, it’s been a quiet topic for YEARS

Because his written shyt wasn’t even better. He never stood out even with written raps. I can’t think of a single verse or lyric I was ever impressed with whether he wrote it or not. That’s unusual.
