These new school pan-Africanist provide a disservice to The late John Henrik Clarke, Chancellor Williams. Malcolm X became a pan Africanist more and more the more he progressed. Can’t imagine any of them disagreeing with reperations or saying we don’t know who ADOS or not.

These YouTube personalities are putting a bad name on pan Africanist as if our greatest scholars weren’t pan Africanist. New Pan Africanism is Anti-Ados. The old ones understood who we are in relation to human history and how we have to unite for the black race to prosper, as the rest of the world dominates based off of their understanding of race and aims to dominate our race in entirety .

It aims to connect Jamaicans and Haitians and Brazilians with AA as all being victims of slavery . Aims to reconnect us with Africa. It never was supposed to be about some hating ass shyt where nobody should get individual rights or benefits if it ain’t for everybody, such as reperations. New pan africanist are a joke. But in all fairness can’t compare YouTube personalities to actual scholars. There are still true pan africanist scholars that exist at major college institutions who work hard and understand each nation must get its due individually as well, but in 2020 we don’t pay them any kind. It’s a shame

Lord Jamar will believe in all that 5% Hotep babble but thinks it's impossible to determine who descends from American (as in U.S.A. smart asses!) Chattel Slavery?

:heh:

Bro is smart in a lot of ways but frustrating sometimes
you don't think it's an agenda? he won't benefit so he's acting obtuse. right is right, wrong is wrong. you can tell a lot about a person's character by how they feel about others doing well in life. Truth is a lot of people cannot stand to see others succeed if they can possible reach heights beyond their own. Rather than being set on their own purpose they worry about how yours affords your access to different things. it's sad, juvenile, and not of God. straight demon behaviour, edomite-type energy. i cannot stand it when i see it in others. it's that same energy that makes people kill for material things. it's the same energy that created the greed that chattel slavery was birthed from.

Y’all don’t have family reunions anymore? Or are people just playing dumb on the internet.

honestly no...not all families are knit like that. Sometimes you just have one side that does that stuff. Sometimes it’s just one household. Sometimes people are just outright adopted...

Im 38 and only one side of my family ever had a reunion and this was in 1988...I couldn’t tell you who my family was on my pops side because his siblings are either dead or I never met their kids.

I can tell you all of the older people in my family but they are dead or dying and I don’t know all of their kids grand kids great grandchildren.

I pop up at funerals and only so many of us even know each other and as the generations grow it’s even less.

Ive said this point many times especially in regards to John Henrik Clarke who Tariq name drops more than any other black scholar nearly, but what you write is questionable also, who are these new Pan Africanist figures or personalities who are anti ADOS, or anti reparations? The mere thought is nonsensical when the vast majority of notable Pan Africanists have been ADOS themselves.

That was the point I was saying. The actual new pan africanist scholars in these educational institutions are NOT anti-ados. I mentioned that most of the pan africanist we regard are either from the states or The islands. I was saying there are multiple YouTube personalities NOW that do not understand pan africanism and are divisive whether talking about “ we ADOS fukk everybody else” (Jason Black) or “we are pan africanist and ADOS issues should not be a primary goal of resolution at the moment.” I don’t think you would say these people don’t exist on YouTube. I don’t follow them, I just want people to actually read and stop investing so much mental space in a lot of YouTube personalities who don’t even understand their own concepts or ideology. I wasn’t shytting on everybody. Me and you agree. You misunderstood my post. I’m making a difference between actual scholars and random YouTube celebrities and nobodies that everyone rather listen to.

Maybe I'm giving Jamar too much of the benefit of the doubt.

Jamar is deeply rooted in those Nation of Gods and Earths, 5% Nations, Pan-Africanism philosophies. So a movement boldly claiming that we are AMERICANS not just "Africans in America" is something that goes against everything Jamar has believed in.

aye i don't doubt some blacks were here before the colonizers from europe but the problem is differentiating between that bloodline and that of an ancestor that was stolen from africa somewhere. Chances are the bloodlines are mixed anyway if your ancestors are a melange of FBA, migrant blacks and indigenous blacks. My thing is as long as one of your ancestors was a FBA/ADOS you are ENTITLED to reparations besides that one ought to be for the upliftment of ADOS dispite any financial benefits non-ados won't receive.
