Vakill...maybe Chino XL
Vakill's Darkest Cloud was ridiculous

Too much of Chino's work is dated but the lines that can stand the test of time though :wow:

"Battling me is like Africa, nikkas talk about it but they don't really wanna go there"

:whoo:

Lord Finesse is very overrated IMO. Liked him on his first tape but the punchlines was getting way out of hand with him. His punchlines were all over the place and I knew in almost every song I listen to him in when they was about to come up. Overrated with a capital "O".
he was the first one i heard rap like that but it seems like cats caught up to him quickly as hell. i see what you mean, it got old fast. still forever a finesse fan on the strength of the flawless first joint. plus his beats still knock. overrated is a strong word

I like Chino tho. He was a punchline machine but his wordplay and rap versatility sort of made up for it. I need to snap a picture of my tape collection cause I have this one also. I actually took all the tapes and. rewinded them to the beginning of side A like u would have found them in a store. Out of all my tapes, I have put 5 in my fireproof box, Just-Ice 2nd album, The 1st Fat Boys, Skinny Boys and Professor Griff, and The original 95 Purple Tape, not the re-release. Them 5 I will not get rid of as of right now.
