Looks like Hillary Clinton was right about BLM 8+ years ago when it comes to actually solving racism

Sigh. Words have meaning and there’s a soft wishy washyness to this conversation when you misuse them.

Systemic racism is a function of the system of white supremacy. It cannot be tackled individually. It’s literally in the name.

Bigotry is an individual problem and… who gives a fukk? fukk your feelings. Feel however you want as long as you aren’t in a position to act on your feelings.

The problem we have is that those with power are able to use the state/court/police/capitalism to produce racist outcomes.

Maybe, but let’s not act like the tax cuts wouldn’t be the same, the wars wouldn’t be the same, the economics in general being the same, presidents not doing no drastic shyt for real, the judges thing is 100% on dems so I’m not really feeling that excuse

And ima ask this again since others ignored this question, would the military support her?
If not then there ain’t shyt to talk about, dems used up they resources on somebody who didn’t have a chance in winning, to the extent they rigged the game so nobody can compete with her so let’s not be phony about the situation using revisionist history
Hilary had every chance of winning. She lost because people assumed she couldn't be beaten. Turn out was lower among POC and white women supported Trump at a higher than expected rate.

White women fall into 2 camps: liberal/smart bookworms like Hilary.....and Lauren Heauxbert truck driving baseball loving types...the girls that hate bookworm broads. Anti-intellectualism among "conservative" white women is a big problem. They never liked HRC and she doesn't have the political skill to speak their language. They prefer loudmouth fat white men...like their husbands.

Media went overboard talking about her email situation because they wanted a close horse race....Ratings. Dem voters just assumed that everyone would see through DJT....underestimating how gullible 49% of America is.

Why the powers that he didn’t put her in there?

I'm not sure how much credit I can give someone whose entire career is based off a different form of ineffectiveness: cultural appeal and good intentions that often do not include any real change.

My critique of the far left has always been that it's too insular, too obsessive, too focused on absolute victory, and that they do not really believe in any concept of gradual change. It's all or nothing. And in between the "all" or "nothing" they're gonna destroy themselves arguing over who is more pure, who is more progressive, etc. Which is why most normal people don't fukk with them once they grow up and see how things work.

I voted for Hillary, I'm not here to entirely shyt on her although I dislike her. I place more criticism at the feet of people who don't understand or care about how shyt works. But at the same time, we have to understand a large group of these people have no intention of learning anything or being right. They simply want the system to fail, and a complete collapse of the United States. The aftermath of which will apparently be some type of socialist paradise where the effete, very-online losers without guns are gonna be in charge and the fascists with guns won't be able to do anything about it. LOL. When you understand that, you understand why they tacitly support Trump: they think he's the best shot at destroying the system/country, and they don't care who gets hurt during the process.

I see Biden basically being the most progressive president since FDR moving the needle on key issues, ending wars, stopping dictators, expanding alliances, maintaining the rule of law...and people are mad Biden isn't an anti-capitalist?

Its so pathetic and the rejection of process, nuance or strategy is so intellectually insulting from people who should know better.

It's why so many bernie bros are white contrarians who are mad they underachieved in life and why so many black democrats tend to be more rational and realistic about their political expectations.

She's right in the sense that we need to make laws that just outright punish and financially cripple them (White Supremacists, KKK, Neo Nazis, etc) for their acts of crime instead of trying to make people have a change of heart because that will never happen, I have no interest in trying to change a racist individual's mindset from hating me into liking me, it's a waste of energy and time...You have to hit them where it hurts, which is in their pockets.

For example the Civil Rights Bill of '64 not only punished them with life sentences and sometimes death but, also financially crippled their organization operations. Soon after a lot of during the 70s and 80s, White Supremacists started to feel the heat, and Klan organizations left and right were going defunct because of all the court cases and lawsuits beating their a.s.s.

The financial losses hurt them more than the jail sentences.

That's why there are not as many Klan groups active anymore, most are “dead in the water” and hanging on by a thread. Most of the racial-motived attacks over the last decade are being committed by Neo-Nazis who are slightly different than Klansmen in that they can operate more as lone wolves rather than in a structured organization so it's harder to target them feel the pain with specific laws outside of federal hate crime charges among others but there are ways to still put pressure on them.
Yo where are all these posters with common sense coming from :ehh:

Your ancestors were taken as slaves.

You now live on the opposite side of the world in a place that was largely unknown to the old world. This part of the planet was a myth to Eurasia and Africa until a few hundred years ago.

This is the most ruthless Empire the world has ever known. And you exist in the heart of it.

Eradicating the idea of racism is peoples minds is totally impossible.

All that can be done is to establish a region where we can govern ourselves. That is the only possible way to have justice in this crazy world. Your group has to be strong enough to command respect. Such that invaders do not test your mettle.

We won't conquer the world. But we must conquer ourselves. Our communities. Our cities.

Laws per se don't change minds, but enforcing laws does create better outcomes. Our law is: don't abuse us cause of our race. And if we do like we have done at times by going totally berserk when cops murder innocent Blacks, that will cause racists to think three times before doing their dirt.

They'll praise republicans for a half measure before they tacitly admit Biden did something right. They were praising JD Vance's railroad safety bill and then got quiet as fukk when the bill added all types of bullshyt for the railroad companies. Likewise you won't see any leftists talking about today's Medicare/prescription drug news.

2022 was the "mask off" moment. Those losers were ready to celebrate massive republican victories, only to watch democrats survive the midterms. And instead of saying "oh wow maybe democrats are doing good" they just moved on like nothing happened. Because their entire political identity is based on "dems lose because they don't listen to me." Well how do you square that with dems winning so much since 2018? You don't. You just ignore it.

all these types were licking Josh Hawley's nuts until he was literally amping the January 6th rioters :gucci:

I haven't seen ONE twitter leftist congratulating Biden's prescription drug news today.

OK. Fine. I'll grant you all of this.

But...if you want to get at laws, you must get involved politically, even voting for candidates you're less than in love with. You must always secure the least bad option, then expand upon it.

Absolutely.

Vote all Repubs out in every election you're allowed.

My earlier post is ideal. Long term. For now we use the tools we have. And voting is so easy and cheap it's a no brainer to use it.
