:wtf: you can still look big...

I wear my clothes fitted though. Shoulders are the thing that separates the boys from the Men though.

Broad shoulders + slim waist + fresh fade + fitted gear = panties dropping....

What really makes one's physique stand out is the angles, which is pretty much the male version of 'curves'. A lot of cats pack on all this mass, but they look wack because they have a barrel frame with small traps, shoulders and arms in comparison to their chest. Large traps coming down to rounded, 'bowling ball' shoulders, v-taper back coming down to a small waist... and then large thighs. Having large arms in proportion to your frame helps a lot, unless you want that long and lanky build which is that sort of boxer or mma look.

A lot of the guys that 'look big' really aren't that heavy. They just have the correct proportions and angles on their muscles. This might sound controversial, but it pays not to not do too heavy of a benchpress because it makes your frame larger, which makes it hard to make your traps and shoulders to look impressive because they have to stretch out over a longer distance. You want a plated chest, not a massive, bloated looking chest muscles.

I have a naturally large chest and wide shoulders so that's not really something I focus on

in your case then I would focus on getting larger traps and really packing mass on the deltoids to get more rounder shoulders... bench press keep it at a weight where you get more definition.

Using Dwight Howard for an example, having large, rounded deltoids really helps make anything you wear pop. Traps are really essential as well for someone to see your build when you are wearing clothes that are not wifebeaters. Dwight needs to work on his traps. Proper proportion and angles is way more important to having an attractive look than packing on a ton of mass. And to be real with you, most female-s aren't really attracted to that lumbering hulk look as they are the more slimmer, athletic build. When you start getting too wide and massive, you start looking short.

If you're tailoring your look to what will be more attractive to women, a slim, angled, and cut look is generally more attractive. I find older women prefer the huge look as compared to the younger ones. I'm not going to say you won't impress women with a massive physique, but you will get MORE with the slender look. You will see women put some slender cat on her wall, but you never see women with a ronnie coleman poster on her wall unless maybe she is just really into bodybuilding herself. Being hulked out gets props from dudes more than it attracts females. You might have a cat say, "Man that dude is massive" but a lot of women be like, "he's too big for me. That's kind of gross."

Lol larger traps? Hehe. :lolbron: I'm just trying to make sure I don't get all sucked up on this cut. I ain't a n00b. But yes traps are a key element in keeping a yoked appearance. Mine are stronger than they look. As far as my lats go :whoo: I don't think they are of the human genome. But this thread is mainly about what you guys would prefer between the two options specified.

:wtf: you can still look big...

I wear my clothes fitted though. Shoulders are the thing that separates the boys from the Men though.

Broad shoulders + slim waist + fresh fade + fitted gear = panties dropping....

this right here talks about the warrior physique vs the superhero physique

Dual Pyramid Training - Superhero Physique | Kinobody Fitness Systems

one looks great without a shirt the other you can notice the physique with clothes

neither is a bad look but in my opinion if you've got a small waist and shoulders back and upper chest is well proportioned and you wear fitted clothing you'll look good to the ladies

So you're a pawg hunter...now it makes sense :ohhh:

Not necessarily, but you date what's in your area. I primarily mess with latinas, tbh. There's literally no black chicks in my immediate area.

With that said, the preppy muscular look is dope, because it shows off the physique.

I always :scusthov: at cats who were fitted clothes, yet are out of shape. For the record, I never wore skinny jeans.

Chicks never complain either. :skip:
