They didn't insult her intelligence and call her dumb, though. Unlikeable? yes, but dumb and incompetent? No. With Kamala they played that dumb/incompetent card with her. That shyt was straight up racism.

GET OFF KAMALA dikk.
THATS NOT THE REASON SHE LOST.

SHE LOST BECAUSE HER OWN
VOTERS DIDNT COME BACK OUT
AND VOTE THIS TIME AROUND
DUE TO THE STATE OF THIS COUNTRY.

TRUMP DID NOT GAIN VOTES

Median income for White people and Hispanics is significantly higher than African Americans. And the gap between Hispanics has gotten wider.

Yet black people keep voting for Democrats.

It’s as if black people have been held hostage by one party ever since the civil right act passed. At some point, when does it end?
In the 21st century the Democrats and the Republicans have held the Presidency 12 years each and the Republicans have held the majority in Congress for longer. Somehow blaming Democrats for our median income is being extremely disingenuous.

nah Hilary was even more unlikeable than Kamala, and all her career BS was more much exposed than Kamala's.

Hillary losing to Obama should've let the party know what time it was with her.
Nah breh Kamala is going to lose the popular vote to a dude that we already saw do nothing but fukkery when he was in office. The votes are still being counted so it’s not going to be this 10-15 million shyt people keep spouting but she’s going to lose it by a a few million. Not good

Even as a kid, the electoral college always confused me

:why: So you mean room 208 and room 507 votes count more than room 312 for homecoming/prom queen?

:mjcry: I should’ve paid more attention in American Government

:mjlol: It was the PE coach though

WE HAVE TO END THE
2 PARTY SYSTEM SOME HOW

When the other viable party spent a massive amount of time and energy using your people in a negative light as reason to vote for them, adding that there is no viable third party, what do you expect? We can not expect large amounts of black people to vote for a party like that, so that is why you see such a low turnout rate.

If black people somehow got organized and financially powerful enough to create a third party, what would happen? How viable would the party be at the national level, the state level, the county and city level? How many other non black people would we get to support us if the party was built to support black issues first?

This is why other groups do not create their own parties but organize, fund and promote lobbying to promote their interests. To organize and lobby for their interests regardless of party. With all of the talk about how Democrats and Democratic policies do not help them, where are all of the lobbies and groups of disaffected black men and women? Why have we not seen it or something like it in the last 4 or 12 years? Keep hearing about "tangibles" and other buzzwords but who are the groups among that group that does that?

The facts are that as much as people talk about a "Third Party" there is no real appetite for it. A lot of the people complaining do not even vote, so why would you even rely on them for any political movement?

it was written by rich white men, who didn't want anyone but rich white men voting :yeshrug: and somehow, 240 years later, it still manages to manifest itself the same way

although we can't even call it that this year, because trump actually pulled off the popular vote :snoop: just a sickening, embarrassing result for the dems

Women's rights

:jbhmm: VERY INTERESTING
THAT EVEN WITH A 13 MILLION VOTE
DECREASE KAMALA HELD EVEN
WITH BIDEN IN THE WHITE MALE VOTE.

BLACKS AND LATINOS REALLY
STAYED HOME THIS TIME

Latino men actively voted for Trump. Latinos were the one group who gave Trump more net votes this election vs 2020

It might sound crazy, but it seems possible to me that the GOP will keep losing white voters gradually while staying in power because of more support from blue collar Latinos. Latino men could be voting to the right of white women soon.

In retrospect i dont find it odd at all, politically speaking its is very hard for party to maintain the white-house 3 terms in a row, al gore and mccain tried it and they failed in that regard, the only person who won a 3rd term for their party was george bush sr and that was at the height of reganism where conservative values and support was extremly high, american politics is cyclical .

it’s true that historically white men hated white women so much they gave slaves the right to legally vote before them.

One of the main reasons the suffrage movement started was because White women essentially said “how is that black slave allowed to vote and I can’t?”

Black folks are still catching heat due to that til this day.
