Show started in late 80's and their kids were already teenagers so im assuming they got their house in the 70's. That isnt that far fetched on a cop salary, in the 70's you could work full time at a gas station and make enough to have a house and support your family. Baby boomers fukked that up for the rest of us though, NOW you need 2 people working fulltime jobs just to squeek by.

There wasnt much difference,they were both centered around 1 character with a family as a background and got incredibly corny at the end of there runs...

The same writers who wrote FM also did Full House and Perfect Strangers so you knew it was going to goofy as fukk half way thru...You cant name a single sitcom that doesnt get bad at the end of its run,they all do...Cosby Show,FM,Fresh Prince,Good Times...they all got stale as fukk the last few seasons...

Fresh prince bel air had better social commentary & a much funnier cast, but I get what you mean.

Fresh prince of bel air episodes wasn't bad in general, but they weren't as good as the earlier episodes.

I don't necessarily agree with the bold only because I think the wayan bros were getting better by the season & everybody hates Chris never really fell off towards the end.
