WWE fukked up, Punk came out of this with an undeniable mystique like :gladbron: finally something interesting is happening in WWE again! And then WWE didn't do shyt with it.

Triple H just inserted himself in the situation and went over everyone for no reason while we waited for Laurinitis to do some actual heel shyt or an actual explanation for Kevin Nash.

Punk's pipebomb should have been pivotal but now it's just another CM Punk promo.

He pretty much called what was gonna happen from jump. He knew he wasn't gonna be in it much longer and as soon as he left, Vince would have another cash cow made and lined up.

What Punk didn't account for was that the E would actually start utilizing the younger talent and now they have a handful of young guys who can go up against your Cenas, Ortons, and Batistas in the eyes of the fans.

See the paradox your issuing is you want more of this, and I am sure most fans do. The only problem is, you need a solid skillset to be able to convince people to pull that off.

Not even Cena can do that.

You need to be a solid talker: Ric Flair, Stone Cold, The Rock, HBK, Jericho levels.

That's not a new viewpoint. Austin has been saying that for years.

It was just a gimmick to get bigger paychecks and a higher spot aka a long title reign. He didn't care about any of this shyt when he was cookie cutter and making Goat jokes by Over the Limit 2012.
Funny thing is that I was explaining someone that it was Punk that accidently jokingly created the "Goat Face" gimmick that D-Bry and the WWE has been running with and eating off of for quite sometime

That may have been filed under "Vince will make money despite himself" because I'm still convinced that it was luck that made WWE make booking The Shield correctly... hell I'm still shocked how well The Shield vs The Wyatts feud has been booked

Oh yeah...they wanted to use it keep Bryan as a comedy tweener heading into the Hell No antics but that was all a mask anyway. Once they started playing his theme more and gave him just a little focus, fans went crazy again just like it was post WM 28 all over again.

I always hated I never bout a "I'M THE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS" shirt during Team Hell No's run

It was part luck no doubt, sometimes feuds just write themselves, it depends if the E can get out of their own way and let shyt happen naturally.

The problem they have is sometimes actually giving the ball to people when they're hot. They gotta get out of the mindset that the only way people can get over is only with their help. Some wrestlers connect with the crowd like Bryan, Cesaro, the Shield, the Wyatts and Punk and the crowd goes apeshyt for them, but in their eyes, they think that the wrestler hasn't earned it yet. That's why ADR and others have bombed, the E thinks they're over with the crowd and that they earned their spot, but in reality, they were given a free spot on the top of the card.

Look at how the crowd turned on Batista, he waltzed in and was given his spot over Punk and Bryan. Punk left, Bryan stayed and they're still the most over in the company while Tista and Orton get booed, or get a random ass chant thrown in their direction, or no reaction, cause the crowd doesn't care bout them. Cena's case is that they're tired of the same shyt, but the 'E ain't gonna alter his character cause he's a money maker to kids and women even though adults and smarks don't like him.
